Hi there!
My name is Marissa Xiong (she/her).
I’m an aspiring art director, strategist and project manager, Texas Creative Sequence survivor, and a graduate of the Moody Communications Honors Program. I'm also interested in DE&I: I was a 4A's MAIP 2021 & 2022 Fellow; I was also President & Creative Director for the Diversity in AD&PR student club for 3 years.
Most recently, during the Spring 2023 semester, I worked as a Social Media Associate with the Institute of Culinary Education in NYC. I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in May 2023 with a B.S. in Advertising, minor in Chinese language, and a newfound love for tacos.
In my spare time, you can find me playing video games, drawing, or making origami. I make origami when I'm stressed, when I'm bored, when I'm happy, whenever I feel like it. I can't stop. I'm literally drowning in origami. Please send help.
